A message from Erika
To all conscious parents,
As both a mom and a clinical nutritionist, I have been inspired by the idea that it’s time for some change.
As a natural healing practitioner, I have worked for the last five years with clients on the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health, and the interconnectedness of all three. I’ve spoken to companies about a variety of health topics, and have taught live and virtual seminars. After leaving corporate America to pursue my passion in the natural health arena, I have enjoyed sharing ideas and opening people’s eyes to options.
As a mom, I have worked to apply these principles, and tools, in my own life as well as my daughter’s. I have longed to connect with other moms like myself, yet have found it to be a somewhat lonely journey. I’ve searched, and have found things here and there, but nothing that has been one guiding resource for all things conscious parenting.
ConsciousParents.org is the merging of these two worlds. I share not only my experience and tools that I’ve used with my clients, and their children, but also content from other experts in this field.
It is my hope that over time, ConsciousParents.org becomes the central hub for all sorts of conscious parenting topics, discussions, and ideas.
Our mission is not only to provide a community for like-minded parents, with great content and resources, but to inspire focused action in alignment with these principles.
At its core, ConsciousParents.org is not about the minutia – organic versus non-organic, breastfeeding versus formula, vaccines or no vaccines. It’s about opening the mind. It’s about starting the discussion. It’s about giving parents something to think about. It’s about moving the needle just a little bit. And then moving it another little bit. Until eventually, we’ve raised the bar.
Thank you for your interest in this idea, and this mission. It is my hope and prayer that this organization will not only strike a chord with many parents, but will give us all the action steps to take together, to instill change in the greater good.
In abundant gratitude,
